ICP WB Visions & Objectives
- To organize Continuing Medical Education Programs throughout the year in different parts of the country.
- To bring out monographs, practice guidelines, technical series report and other learning resource materials in various disciplines of medicine aiming at upgrading the knowledge and skill of medical professionals.
- To conduct Academic and Scientific Researches.
- To train candidates in various medical specialties and super specialties and award certificates.
- To seek affiliation or be associated on reciprocal basis with national and international colleges, associations or similar bodies to achieve the objectives of the college
- To generate funds to carry out the objectives of the college.
- To hold national and international conferences
1st Annual Conference of ICP West Bengal Forum of ICP Fellows (Hybrid)
1st Annual Conference of ICP West Bengal Forum of ICP Fellows was held on 26.11.2021 at Hotel Pipal Tree, Kolkata in association with Association of Physicians of India, West Bengal Branch. The theme of the conference was Progress in Medicine. The program was divided into two separate halls. The halls were named in memories of respectable Late (Dr) Arun Kr Majumdar & Late (Dr) Anup Kr Bhattacharya hall.
Peripheral CME of West Bengal Forum of ICP Fellows
On 29th May 2022 the peripheral CME was held along with API, Malda City Branch during MAPICON 2022. It was performed in Hybrid mode and was attended by huge number of delegates from Kolkata as well as Malda and neighbouring districts. Dr Bikram Saha & Dr Pijush Kanti Mondal along with the entire team of API, Malda City Branch did their best to make the conference a great success. Everybody who was physically or virtually attended the conference, appreciated the high standard of deliberations of speakers and the efforts given by the team of API, Malda City Branch.
Peripheral CME of West Bengal Forum of ICP Fellows
On 12th June 2022, Association of Physicians Murshidabad conducted the peripheral CME of ICP West Bengal Forum of ICP Fellows in a befitting manner. It was also in Hybrid mode where a good number of delegates attended the program both physically and virtually. Dr Md Hamid Ali, Dr Udas Chandra Ghosh along with the entire Murshidabad team had left no stone unturned to make the conference a grand success. There was a big applause from the delegates who attended the meeting. The branch in future will definitely go a long way for performing various successful programs.
Master Class
ICP West Bengal Forum of ICP Fellows had started master class program for Post Graduate students (MD GEN MED/DNB) through webinar on every Sunday from the month of July 2020. The master class as per feedbacks from the students is very helpful and satisfactory from the beginning.
