Combined CME Program
Association of Physicians of India West Bengal Branch in association with Indian Society of Nephrology (ISN National Level) organized a CME program on 12th March 2022 at the Auditorium, IPGMER SSKM Hospital. The program started at 10.30AM. Many relevant lectures and a beautiful Quiz program were organized.
Save the Saviours
Under this heading API WB Chapter always raised their voice against any bad incidence or assaults against doctors.
Recent sorrowful incident regarding Dr Archna Sharma’s suicide on 29th March 2022 - Under the leadership of Dr H S Pathak, Dr P S Karmakar, Dr Tapas Bandyopadhyay& Dr Jyotirmoy Pal, API WB Branch protested against this sort of heinous assault on doctors. API WB chapter raised voice all over the West Bengal in various Government & Private Hospitals. The doctors also sported a black badge (Written – Save the Saviours, Justice for Dr Archana) as a mark of their protest. Dr. H S Pathak & Dr. M K Roy of API, WB visited and handed over the protest letter to the Health Secretary, DME & DHS.

Doctors’ Day Celebration
All across India, National Doctors' Day is celebrated on 1st July in the memory of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, a legendary physician and the second Chief Minister of West Bengal. He was born on July 1, 1882 and died on the same date in 1962.
In this occasion, Association of Physicians of India, West Bengal Chapter celebrated the Doctors’Day program by garlanding on Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy’s statue (bust) at his residence in Kolkata.
